During the course, our group was an opponent group of another group. They have now presented both of their presentations. Here is a short list of our comments and thoughts.

Multidimensional data visualization:

A very interesting topic. We are working with multidimensional data in our other project and learned a lot during the lecture. The structure of the presentation was clear and there was not too much text per slide. Examples were good, although we noted that it would have been nice to have the data introduced before looking at visualizations.

NCRC Project (Consumption habits + everyday analytics):

Once again an intersting topic and well defined variables from student point of view: the amount of sleep, coffee and alcohol consumption). It was also nice to see that previous work with multidimensional data visualization had provided the group theoretical background. We would have liked to see more sketches and better understand the focus of the project, whether it is an app or a webpage and who is the user. The example shown (green circle as safe area)was interesting but one needs to try how well it goes together with the variables chosen.
